Chicago Proxies Terms of Service
Version dated October 10, 2026. These terms are the deal between you and Chicago Proxies whenever you open an account, buy a line or send traffic through our Chicago rack. We wrote them in plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, write to [email protected] before you buy rather than after.
What you are actually renting
A Chicago Proxies line is the exclusive use of one carrier SIM, from AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon, seated in one piece of hardware that we own and operate in our Chicago rack. The hardware may be a 4G or 5G USB modem, a cellular router or an Android phone, depending on what you ordered and what was free that day. For the whole of your paid period, that SIM and that device carry your traffic and nobody else's. We do not pool, share or resell a line that is already yours.
The addresses that line presents to the internet belong to the carrier, not to us and not to you. They are handed out from the carrier's Chicago-area pool, they sit behind carrier-grade NAT alongside ordinary phone subscribers, and the carrier can change them without asking anyone. We therefore do not promise you any particular address, that an address will stay the same for a set time, that an address will never come back after rotation, that you will see a particular speed at a particular moment, or that any website or app will treat you in any particular way. Those things are outside our control, and we would rather say so here than pretend otherwise.
Who may open an account
You must be at least eighteen years old and able to enter a binding contract where you live. If you are buying on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that company. Your login and the proxy credentials for each line are yours to protect: anything done with them is treated as done by you. Tell us right away if you believe they have leaked and we will reset them. One person, one account; please do not open several accounts to get around a limit.
Billing: paid ahead, renewed ahead
Every plan is prepaid. Hourly, daily, weekly and monthly lines are paid in full before they start, and the line activates the moment the payment clears. If you keep automatic renewal on, we collect the next period before the current one ends so that the line never drops between periods. If you turn it off, the line simply stops at the end of the paid time and the hardware is freed for someone else.
We may change our prices. A change applies only to periods you have not yet paid for; nothing you have already paid is ever repriced. Prices shown at checkout are in US dollars. Payment can be made by card, PayPal, Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, Zelle or bank wire; crypto and wire payments are credited once the network or the bank confirms them.
If a payment is late
When a renewal cannot be collected we tell you by email and in the dashboard. You then have twenty-four hours of grace during which the line keeps running as normal. If the amount is still unpaid after that, the line is suspended, but we hold the device and the SIM for you for a further twenty-four hours so that a late payment puts you straight back on the same line. At forty-eight hours past the due date the line is released back into stock. A released line cannot be recovered and the unpaid period is not refunded, because there is nothing left to refund. Management may suspend or release a line sooner than this schedule when an account shows a pattern of late payment or when we have other reasonable grounds to believe the amount will not be paid.
Uses we do not allow
A proxy changes the network path of your traffic and nothing else. It does not give you a phone number, a device fingerprint or any permission a website never granted you. You agree to follow the rules of every service you reach through our line. The following are forbidden, and we will end a line that is used for them without a refund:
- Any activity that is illegal in the United States, in Illinois or in the place where you are.
- Unauthorised access attempts, credential stuffing, port scanning or exploiting other people's systems.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages by email, SMS or any messaging platform.
- Fraud of any kind, including payment fraud, fake reviews, click fraud and identity theft.
- Content that sexually exploits minors, incites violence or harasses a specific person.
- Distributing malware, phishing kits or material you have no right to distribute.
- Reselling, sharing or sub-letting a line without a written arrangement with us.
- Deliberately degrading the carrier network, the device or other customers' service.
Complaints and lawful requests
If a third party sends us an abuse complaint about an address that was assigned to your line at the time, we will look into it and may ask you to explain. We may suspend the line while we do. When a court, a law enforcement agency or a carrier serves us with a valid legal request, we comply with it to the extent the law requires, and we may hand over the account and connection records that we keep. We do not keep the contents of your traffic, so we cannot hand those over.
Unlimited data and fair use
Our lines carry unlimited data for proxy work: browsing, account management, scraping, verification, testing, API calls and the like, with no meter and no allowance. The SIM in your device is a consumer plan from the carrier, and carriers watch for traffic that looks like a server rather than a phone. Bulk file transfer, mass downloading, torrenting, video re-streaming and similar continuous high-volume moves are therefore not allowed. If a line starts to look like that, we may slow it, pause it or move it to different hardware; such a measure is not downtime and does not earn a credit. We do not publish a numeric threshold, because the point is the pattern of the traffic, not a figure, and because the carrier's own limits change.
Intellectual property
The Chicago Proxies name, logo, website, dashboard, documentation and software are ours or licensed to us. You may use them only to use the service. Nothing in these terms transfers any right in them to you. Content you fetch through a line stays subject to whatever rights its owner holds; we claim nothing in it and we take no responsibility for it.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided as it is. Mobile networks are variable by nature: signal, tower load, carrier maintenance and address changes all happen without warning. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or any specific result on any third-party service.
Our total liability to you for anything arising out of this agreement, whatever the legal theory, is limited to the amount you paid us in the thirty days before the event you are claiming about. We are never liable for lost profit, lost data, lost accounts on other platforms or any indirect or consequential loss. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in that case ours apply as far as they are permitted.
Indemnity
You will defend and hold Chicago Proxies, its operator and its staff harmless from any claim, loss, fine or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that arises from your use of the line, from your breach of these terms or from your breach of any third party's rights or any platform's rules.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by turning off renewal or by letting a paid period run out; you may also ask us to close the account. We may suspend or end a line or an account immediately for a breach of these terms, for non-payment as set out above, for a credible abuse complaint or for a lawful request that requires it. If we end service for our own convenience rather than for cause, the unused part of the current period is credited to your account.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms. The version date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new text. Material changes are announced in the dashboard. This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of Chicago Proxies is registered, and disputes are heard in the courts of that state unless the law gives you a right you cannot waive.
Questions go to [email protected] or to our Telegram bot @ChicagoProxiesBot. Account and billing matters are handled from the dashboard at https://chi.chicagoproxies.com.
Questions
Can two people use one Chicago line?
One customer per device is the rule, and it is what keeps the line clean. If a team shares one login that is your choice, but sub-letting or reselling the line to someone else is not allowed.
What counts as bulk file transfer?
Traffic that looks like a download server rather than a person: torrents, mass video pulls, continuous multi-gigabyte moves. Normal proxy work, including scraping and account management, is not that.
What happens to my line if I miss a renewal by a day?
Nothing yet. There are twenty-four hours of grace, then suspension with the line held another twenty-four hours. Pay inside that window and you are back on the same line.
