Undetectable.io With a Chicago Mobile Proxy: Profile Setup

Undetectable.io is the antidetect browser we recommend first, and pairing one of its profiles with a Chicago carrier line is the most common setup our customers run. The profile controls what the browser says about itself; the line controls where the connection comes from. Get the two to agree and a site sees a phone-network user in Chicago with a consistent browser. This guide walks through the setup in order, with the settings that match a Chicago line, and the checks to run before you trust the profile with real work.

Why a profile and a line belong together

A proxy changes the network path and nothing else. If your browser reports a time zone, a language and a screen that belong somewhere else, a site that compares them with the address will notice the gap. An antidetect profile exists to give each identity its own consistent set of browser facts, and the point of putting it on a dedicated line is that the network facts stay consistent too: same carrier, same metro, an address only you use.

One profile on one line is the rule we suggest. Several profiles on one line share an address history; one profile moving between lines changes its network story. Neither is forbidden, but both make a platform's job of spotting something odd easier, and the whole purpose here is to be unremarkable.

What you need before you start

Have these four things ready; the whole setup takes a few minutes once they are in front of you.

  • An Undetectable.io account; the sign-up link is below if you do not have one.
  • A Chicago Proxies line from https://chi.chicagoproxies.com, from $2 for 2 hours or $5/day.
  • From the dashboard: the proxy host, the port, the username and the password, and whether you will use HTTP(S) or SOCKS5. Both work; SOCKS5 also carries UDP.
  • Optionally, the rotation link for the line, if you want to change the address from outside the browser.

Creating the profile

Undetectable.io keeps the proxy inside the profile, so each profile can sit on its own line.

  1. Open Undetectable.io and click to create a new profile. Give it a name that includes the line, for example Chicago AT&T 01.
  2. Choose the operating system and browser the profile should imitate. Pick what you actually use day to day so the fingerprint is ordinary.
  3. Open the proxy section of the profile. Set the type to HTTP or SOCKS5 to match what you will use.
  4. Enter the host and port from your Chicago Proxies dashboard, then the username and password.
  5. Use the check button next to the proxy fields. It should show a US address, the carrier as the provider, and Chicago or Illinois as the location.
  6. Save the proxy to the profile. If the check fails, confirm the four values character by character; a trailing space in the password is the usual cause.

Settings that match a Chicago line

The rest of the profile should agree with the address. Undetectable.io can derive time zone, language and geolocation from the proxy automatically, and for a Chicago line that is a sensible default: it will land on Central time and a US locale. If you prefer to set them by hand, use the values below.

  • Time zone: America/Chicago (Central time).
  • Language: en-US, with English first in the accepted languages list.
  • Geolocation: either derived from the address or set manually to Chicago; do not set it to a city that contradicts the address.
  • WebRTC: masked or replaced with the proxy address, never your real address.
  • Screen and fonts: leave on the defaults Undetectable.io generates for the chosen OS.

Sticky or rotating inside the profile

For account work, leave the line sticky. The address stays for as long as the carrier keeps the session, and the profile builds a history on it. If you want a new address between sessions, rotate from the dashboard or by calling the rotation link, then reopen the profile; the profile keeps its fingerprint and only the address changes, which is what a phone user looks like after a night on a charger.

Do not rotate mid-session while logged in. Platforms tolerate a phone changing address, but changing it every few minutes during one visit is not what phones do.

Checks before real work

Five short checks catch nearly every setup mistake we see in support.

  1. Start the profile and open an IP lookup page. Confirm the address is the carrier's and the location reads Chicago or Illinois.
  2. Open a time zone check page and confirm the browser is on Central time, matching the address.
  3. Run a WebRTC leak test and confirm only the proxy address is shown.
  4. Load a page you know well and confirm it is served as the US version.
  5. Only then open the accounts you plan to use in this profile.

Frequently asked

Should I use HTTP or SOCKS5 in Undetectable.io?

Either. HTTP(S) is the simpler choice for browser work. SOCKS5 also carries UDP, which matters for some apps but rarely for a browser profile.

Can I run several profiles on one Chicago line?

You can, and they will share the address and its history. For separate identities we suggest separate lines; each line is one SIM in one device, rented to you alone.

The proxy check says a suburb, not Chicago. Is that wrong?

No. Geolocation databases describe a range, and the pin lands somewhere in the Chicago metro. It still reads as Illinois, which is what platforms compare.

Does Undetectable.io give me a Chicago phone number or a fingerprint?

No. It gives you a consistent browser identity, and our line gives you a Chicago carrier address. Neither grants anything a platform has not given you, and each platform's rules still apply.

USA mobile proxies on hardware we own

Real 4G and 5G carrier IPs in eight US metros, with unlimited rotation, sticky sessions and HTTP(S) or SOCKS5. Try a line by the hour from $2 for the first two hours, or take a full day from $5; the hours you paid count toward the day.
